Rainwater Harvesting in Colorado

We also hear from Harold Smethills, a developer who’s looking to build more than 10,000 homes in Southwest Denver that would use rainwater for landscaping.

  • Thank you so very much for the informative segment on rabies today on the program.

You may, or may not be aware of this, but horses are also vaccinated for rabies. Although, there are few reports of horses contracting rabies (one in Kentucky in February of this year), many horses owners vaccinate as a precaution to protect their animals. The vaccine is inexpensive compared to the loss of an animal. The saying “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is more than true in the case of this deadly, always fatal disease.
