The death toll in Gaza has topped 870, and today Israeli troops pushed into the heavily populated area of Gaza City. Israeli officials say they are close to achieving their goals. Middle East envoy and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair says diplomatic talks in the region have signaled a possible cease-fire in Gaza in the coming days. We speak with New York Times correspondent Steve Erlanger in Jerusalem.
