Sergeant Charles Monroe King wrote a journal for his infant son, just in case he didn’t make it home from Iraq. He didn’t, and now Charles’ fiancee Dana Canedy is sharing that journal with the world. The journal mixes stories of battle with a father’s advice to a son on how to behave on a date. Dana Canedy’s new book is, “A Journal for Jordan: A Story of Love and Honor,” and she joins us to talk about it.
