In the final presidential debate last night, Republican John McCain said the housing advocacy group ACORN, which also registers low and moderate income voters, is “now on the verge of perpetrating one of the greatest frauds in voter history in this country, and maybe destroying the fabric of democracy.” Exactly what is ACORN accused of?
