Cable Television Satire

Listen
We revisit a conversation we had with Bill Flanagan, who’s book “New Bedlam” comes out in paperback next week. The book tells the story of Bobby Kahn, a disgraced reality T.V. executive who looks to salvage his career by taking a job with a struggling cable television network based in Rhode Island. The world of television is one that Flanagan knows well: he’s a CBS Sunday Morning commentator and an Executive Vice President of MTV Networks.
