Bangladesh and Global Warming

Listen
Even by the most conservative estimates, Bangladesh will lose about 15 percent of its land to rising sea levels as a result of global warming. That’s in a country the size of Iowa with 150 million people, most of them poor, and Muslim, with a growing Islamist and Jihadist movement. We’ll speak with George Black who visited there recently and wrote about it in the magazine OnEarth, published by the Natural Resources Defense Council.

Listen
A YouTube video that shows people using their cell phones to pop popcorn has been viewed more than 15 million people, even though you cannot actually pop popcorn with a cell phone. It turns out this video is part of an internet viral marketing campaign created by a small Bluetooth Headset company based in Pittsburgh called Cardo Systems. We speak with Cardo Systems CEO Abraham Glezerman.
