Arizona Moves to Leave NCLB Behind

Arizona is on track to become the first state in the nation to drop out of the no child left behind program. If that happens, the state would lose up to 600 million dollars in federal funding. The Arizona house of representatives voted last week to opt out of no child left behind in the year 2010 if the state can fill that shortfall elsewhere. We speak to the sponsor of the Arizona bill, Democratic State Representative David Schapira.
